Okay so if I make some of the mesh bigger it'll help some bit? Thank you, I'm definitely going to get that other light but I wanted to make sure I could do something at least. I'm so scared to do something wrong, I'm so attached already

the distance for a 10.0 T 5 should be 8-10 inches w/ it on the screen -- for a 5.0 bulb no screen and 6-8 inches -- so if you get a 10.0 bulb the distance is going to be 8-10 -- your screen is a wider hole type --- fine is like a screen door
