[QUOTE="Schmonatan, post: 2017473, member: 117362"] Hi everyone. Right from the start - I'm not a native English speaker, so there might be some difficulties from my side to explain correctly what is going on. My beardie is 4 months old, since about the middle of February, after I feed her in the morning (in our special cage for live hunting) I put her back, and she goes to bask in her favorite spots, but soon after - she starts to walk along the right side of the tank and dig the bottom of it, also pushing it with her snout (the wall is in the basking side + the hunting cage stands near it. I leave it there for future feeding attempts). Of course, it's easy to assume that she is hungry again...BUT, when I put her back to her special cage with "leftovers" she doesn't want them! And after about 20 secs she asks to go under the lamp again (at this moment I put the cage away). So I put her back. And she goes basking. And then after some time she starts to push the wall again, in several minutes I take her out of the tank to have a little walk with her and give an uplifting speech to calm her down. And she sits in my hands without any signs of stress. I put her back in about 5 minutes and she calmly goes basking. Then in awhile the situation with wall pushing repeats. Funny thing is that after about an hour she quite eagerly can eat some medium dubias with numerous smaller ones but anything else is not that appetizing. But, also, at some moments, she doesn't want dubias as well. Small ones are always welcome though... Plus, her bowl in the tank is filled with mixed salad, there's a separate bowl with BSFL (if I leave her not paying attention to her scratchings, she might eat some) and still she tries to "go through the glass". I want to stress that it's not your usual "glass surfing", because she doesn't try to climb the wall. This tantrum goes from the morning till about 1 p.m. And then she's like a silk, basking around and goes eating at 4 p.m. when I offer. I'm super confused with what it all means. Is it just a behavior of spoiled baby or what? Because it started quite recently and all of a sudden. All the proper essentials (UVB, temps, size of the tank) are there. Sorry for such long post.
