I am looking for some suggestions for some safe tank cleaners for the class on my beardies tank. I generally use diluted dish soap and hot water to wash things in the tank like his enclosure but that isn't going to do a great job on the glass surfaces.
F10 veterinary disinfectant is what a lot of people use but Ive not tried it on glass, I just wipe the glass with pampers sensitive skin fragrance free baby wipes.
F10, vinegar/water, wipeout (zoomed), chlorhexidine (what I use), diluted ammonia (wipeout is ammonia based) then finish with windex. Let it dry to zero fumes, anything ammonia based has toxic fumes.
I clean the glass with rubbing alcohol and water on a microfiber cloth.
What I clean off from the glass is mostly: water stains (I regularly spray the sand and water the plants inside the tank, so when doing that, from time to time a bit of water might land on the glass), random stains from veggies or from soil from potted plants when I was a bit clumsy with putting the food in.
I don't need to do it very often; approx. as often as I clean windows.
(Poop is not much an issue as my dragon poops on sand which I generously scoop out. Easy as I can get the sand for free My dragon luckily does not track through poop and never poops somewhere else in his enclosure than a specific pooping spot in the sand.)
I seriously need to learn how to make flower crowns, these are so pretty
I don’t know if Ill be able to rock wearing one though.. Seungmin, Hyunjin, I.N, Felix and Changbin all need to teach me how to make one
(they’re from my favorite group, Stray Kids)
