Okay so I'm a fairly new beardie owner, I've had my dragon Tonks for about a month or so now, and I've been taking very good care of her, and she tolerates me handling her now. The problem is if I get her out and sit down or something, she'll jump off of me and dash off, she did this today and it took me awhile to catch her. She seems to be comfortable with me, she's just very adventurous. So I guess my question is, how can I keep her from getting away from me?
Thanks SO much!
Beardies are very curious creatures and will want to explore everything.... your best bet (if possible) is play with her in an area that you can sit down in but she cant get lost... ie a bedroom without places to hide... or a section of your living you can 'keep' her in. Then she can get off you... look around and even come back to climb on you (which mine does) if she wants.
Thanks so much! I think this will work, I can't do it in my bed room because there are a lot of places to hide, and my dog is in here a lot, but I think I can figure something out. Thank you! =)
