My beardie is about 6 months old and she eats about 2-4 crickets a day but she eats so much salad. While I was feeding her crickets I was putting some veggies in the cricket box to feed them and she saw the kale and starting flipping out so I gave her some even though she had 2 crickets in the cage I feed her in. I was wondering if this is okay? She's healthy and growing and is very active and stuff but she just eats a lot of veggies. Will this cause issues later in her life?
That's great that she likes her veges. Give her as much as she wants. A nice variety of veges is great for their overall health. She will still need plenty of bugs at that age (the amount will vary) so keep offering them daily, but if she prefers veges that's fine as long as she's active and alert.
