so Herman was just munching on his salad and i noticed something weird.
As he was eating he was just opening his mouth and snapping it closed over and over again... just wondering why he's doing this

i figured out, he got a piece of the leaf stuck on his lip and he was trying to get it off, i removed the scrap and he stopped doing it

Make sure there's no stems and he can digest the food properly...
He could be trying to chew a harder veggie

oh thank you for telling me! i usually put the stems in his salad and he doesn't eat them but he likes them when covered in calcium powder... never knew he couldn't have them! thank you for letting me know.
Now i'm nervous he might get impacted... i will give him a bath tomorrow morning (he is asleep now)
