My bearded dragon is about 15 inches and roughly 5/6 months old. I was feeding him crickets but decided to switch to Dubia Roaches recently. When he had crickets he would eat twice a day. Now that he is eating Dubias he only eats once a day sometimes he’ll eat twice. He will eat about 7-10 Dubias during the first meal. I am just worried that since he is still young that he is not getting enough insects. I just want some reassurance that it is okay and if not how can I get him to eat more. And I give him a daily salad and he does munch on that throughout the day.
It sounds like he's fine. It's especially good that he's munching on his salad a bit. Their appetites fluctuate so just keep food available and he'll take what he wants. If he's still eating daily, even if it's less, that's fine.
