My 3 yr old beardie is not moving from her basking spot (a hammock). She's been doing this behavior for a couple weeks now. The temps are hot enough - around 36C measured with a probe. However, she stays on the hammock all day and doesn't want to move even after basking after eating. When we place her on the cold or warm side, she just makes her way to the hammock. The cold side of our tank is around 21C.
I was thinking maybe she's just comfortable and feels safe on her hammock. Or she's used to it. Or could it be something else?
It’s 96 degrees on bask site? You could always try bumping the temps a little. I noticed when it’s cooler in our rank the dragon will bask for longer periods of time. Just an idea

I'll try to aim for 105 for now, since I'm mostly testing to see if she will move if it's too hot and it's my enclosure being too cold that's the problem. On a side note - how often do you measure your temps?
I have several probes in my enclosure and hit my bask spot with a I.R. gun every once and awhile. We use a herpstat dimming unit so my temps never really change
