My bearded dragon weighs around 15 grams and is around 7 1/2 inches long. His basking spot is around 108 degrees normally and warn side is around 85-90 degrees. He eats collard greens and carrots daily. He gets 36 crickets 2-3 times a week. I use a reptisun 5.0 T5 HO long tube bulb that is 24”. Does anyone know why he might not be gaining weight? He’s weighed 15 grams for 1-2 weeks now. This is his setup.
You need to increase his insects -- 2-3 times per week of only 36 crickets is not enough for him - he should be eating that per day if not more -- I would start offering more - he is too little to be only getting them that little of per week - I would get him some dubia roaches as well - you can order them from here www.dubiaroaches.com and get some small or medium super worms to offer as treats- feed them on top of his salads --- or you can get him some nutri grubs from here too -- do not dust them - add them to the tops of his salads use as many as you want they are a great staple feeder -- here is a website for nutrition -- http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html ignore the kale thing its a good staple feeder - you need to mix his salads greens up as well -
