Beardie not eating?!

Hey! I recently moved houses. My beardie seems to not be eating her food since. She will eat one bite of something every day or so, but that's all. I wasn't worried at first because I knew she was very stressed about the new environment. Any advice? About a week ago, she would poo every day(which is not normal for her). She would also get very excited and want to come out every morning. Is there seem to be a reason she isn't eating? Can being placed near a window effect that?

Hi there,

Relocation stress can occur even if you've had your dragon for years. Any change in environment (especially a large change) can trigger it. It's possible too that being near the window is stressing her out extra, depending on what she is seeing. Whatever it is, its probably all very new to her and will take her time to get used to her new environment.

If she's by a window, just make sure that direct sunlight can't shine in through the window into the tank.

Ok, thank you for your help! I'll give her some time to get used to it.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
