I keep seeing little bits of dubia that are undigested within my dragon's huge poos!!
A few wings, the head shell parts, etc. She eats 3 - 5 adults about every other day, and I've been noticing this for a little while now.
Her basking spot is a homemade platform and ranges between 104 - 109 depending on the time of day, but she just doesn't hang out there all that much. She prefers either of the 2 hammocks in her cage, and they're on opposite corners away from the basking light.
Should I worry? I figured that she has the correct temps available, and that she would know her body and will go there as much as she wants/needs to. Should I try moving the basking light to over one of the hammocks instead?
I know, pics would have been helpful. I'll get one as soon as I can, since this is happening pretty consistently... :|
That is a hard call. How much time, on average, does she spend basking & what are the temperatures on her hammock?
Are there always roach parts that are undigested?
You are normally going to see some "parts" in the stool, but shouldn't see a lot of whole parts though. LOL
They can technically digest at 95-98 degrees & don't have to be in the 100's to digest properly.
