She has had multiple X-rays.Did you ever get an x-ray? The report from earlier you posted shared that a fall occured. The legs have showed lameness since the fall. CPK and lymphocytes elevated are signs of muscle/tissue damage, since the blood draw occured after the fall that could have been a recent change - without a prior blood test it's hard to say.
Uric acid could be lower, I know it's normal but if she is having trouble moving uric acid is the precursor to gout (uric acid crystals in the joints). This why we look for "low purine" vegetable and plants for bearded dragons. Vitamin C in the supplement you're giving her should also help reduce the uric acid. Even if it is "normal" level uric acid lower is always better for a uric acid in a blood test
Glad to see the UVB is being optimized for her!
Dubia roaches is good for causing gout- was a uric acid test done to see if it was gout- if not you might want to have blood work done to rule it out for sure - what kind of uvb are you using in the tank? She has had multiple X-rays.
I apologize…I can’t remember how I worded it in the original post…but it was not a fall. She jumped. Sorry if I said it was a fall. She did not show any signs of injury at that time. It wasn’t until several days later that she started showing signs of not being able to fully use it.
Now the swelling is in all limbs consistently. Nothing at all is working. We’ve tried everything.
We are currently treating her for gout by giving her the products from Tracie’s “Gout Ease”. It’s not working either.
We take her outside for natural sunlight and UVB. She doesn’t like to eat greens so we make her green slurries and give that to her.
She’s only had maybe 6 super worms in the past month. (She loves them!) Trying to cut down on what might be giving her gout like symptoms.
Let me know your thoughts
She’s never had roaches. Yes she was tested for gout. Came back negative. And she has also had bloodwork done. Everything came back ok. And the lighting is up to par. We followed Tracies advice on that. You can read in previous posts. Do you have any other suggestions?Dubia roaches is good for causing gout- was a uric acid test done to see if it was gout- if not you might want to have blood work done to rule it out for sure - what kind of uvb are you using in the tank?
Did Tracie see the blood work results? No other suggestions --She’s never had roaches. Yes she was tested for gout. Came back negative. And she has also had bloodwork done. Everything came back ok. You might want to post it so she can look at it- see what she thinksThe bloodwork on page one said uric acid was 8.5mg/dL
I'm not sure how long it would take uric acid to decrease in a bearded dragon with the gout care products. In humans a vitamin C treatment plan generally takes 30 days to reduce uric acid levels, length of time varies depending on how elevated the levels are and diet changes are needed to maintain lower uric acid levels.
I imagine it would take longer in a bearded dragon, plus beardies are limited in what medication options are available. Tracie would know more than I of course

Yes she had had a black beard the past few days on and off. It started with her being darker over all but the past few days she’s been really dark.Hello,
I received your email & will get back with you as soon as possible.
I forgot to ask, has she had a black beard at all? For now, I would try to keep her protein levels
as low as possible, to help with kidney function. How much oral fluids are you giving daily, along
with the allopurinol?

The liquid that she gets is the liquid that I add to the powder in the kit that I got from you. Around 2-3ml. Then whatever amount she’s getting with the slurries. I do not add water to the slurries. It’s just the juice from the greens and the small amount of molasses. She also gets a bath every other day. Sometimes daily.
Should I go back to the vet for the 8th time amd demand medication for gout even tho none of her results show that she’s has it. Just look at her poor foot.
