Hi everyone! I have a 4 month old and he lifts his toes. Sometimes it's all 4 and sometimes it just 1 or 2. He doesn't do it when he walks or runs and doesn't do it all the time. You can see his back toes lifted in the pic. Any help on what this could be would be helpful. Concerned beardie mom ?

It's an thermoregulation thing. His toes may need to cool off or the surface may be a bit warm. I wouldn't necessarily chane the temps if he is using them happily but double check them.

Hello,

He sure is a cutie! LOL
I agree, it is most likely just a little hot there for his little feet. Sometimes wood gets hot like that. He will be ok though!

Hello,

Absolutely, let us know how he is doing. Feel free to update him on his growth too if you would like. :D

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
