So my bearded dragon just laid a clutch of 30 infertile eggs. She is about 2 3/4 old, and this is her first clutch. I know they are infertile because she has never been with a male. Is there anything I need to set up in her tank in case she has more eggs left? I can feel one or two bumps, but I can’t tell if that’s her being constipated (she hasn’t had a normal bowel movement in a couple of weeks) or if it’s more eggs. Should she be taken to a vet for an x-ray just to see if she has more eggs left? Also does anyone know how often they can lay infertile eggs? Thanks to anyone who can help!
Hi Lucy, what is her usual diet and how do you hydrate her ? What type of lights do you use and can you post a pic of her entire set up including the lights ? It's not usually apparent what a beardie has in their stomach just by feeling and an Xray may or may not show anything so that could be a waste of money. Just work at keeping her hydrated , well fed and calcium supplemented. Use a syringe to feed smoothies or Oxbow Critical Care formula [ can be ordered or from your vet ] Here's how to post pics :
