Beardie Harness/Grouchy Dragon

My dragon has never been one to like handling or anything. He doesn't even like being picked up and will leap out of my hand. He would much rather just sit in his cage and never have any contact. He is a very healthy dragon it just makes it hard to clean the cage and stuff. I also would like to be able to take him outside with his harness on but as you can imagine I have to fight him to get him into it and he tries his very hardest to get out and has succeeded at it before. Do you guys have any ideas on how to make him a more tame animal? He does seem to enjoy running around on the floor. Today I put his harness on while feeding him and kept it on while he ate and he seemed to not notice as much but as soon as he was done he was back to rubbing it off. Do you guys have any ideas on getting him to not hate his harness so much and to actually like coming out of his cage? Thanks!

Dargon stopped struggling with his harness when he made the connection that wearing it meant he got to go outside.
if you are sure he won't get out of the harness, take him outside for a little while. keep him on you if it is his first time outside. he'll need to get used to the new sounds and smells.

you'll have to just keep handling him everyday to get his more tame. have him on your lap and give him treats. wrap him in a towel or blanket before his lights go out and sit with him on your chest.

when you let him run around inside, he will eventually get cold and slow down. I use that time to hold Tasty Treat. she is not much of a cuddler, so i take every opportunity i can to steal cuddles.
