Ok, Cora is about 6 months old now. I don't know if its me or if she's really not growing at the rate Meat Head did. I measured her today and she is 16 inches from tip of nose to tip of tail. She eats like a horse, all her lighting and everything is right too.
Is that a normal size for her age? Or is she just a smaller breed of dragon?
Haha well you can't really compare her (or any other dragon for that matter) to Meathead! Such a big boy. My beardie is about 7-8 months (i'm only guessing) and he is a little over 18. Plus females grow a little slower/less usually, but not all the time.
I think you are thinking of the other MeatHead on this site. This Meat Head is a she and isn't a german giant, she is just a normal beardie we got at petsmart.
I have update pics of them both in photo expressions. Meat Head is only around 19 inches and has a tiny tail nip from the pet store.
Oops, i'm sorry :? I'm not having a good day today haha. As long as you've got her husbandry and everything right then there really shouldn't be anything to worry about.
It's ok, I just wish the little bugger would grow already. lol I can understand the relocation stress we had to put her through twice while waiting to purchase the house. We have been here almost 4 months already and she has only shed once. ?? I still love her lots though.
I would also like to know if with it being winter here in Ohio, would that slow her growth rate down? She's been a going to bed a little earlier than normal also. I don't think she is old enough to be brumating so I'm kinda confused. Same as before she is still eating like a horse and everything else, poop normal, ect. Nothing has changed in her viv or anything. ???? Any one have any ideas?
When we got Meat Head it was november, so she was a fall baby and didn't go through a huge growth spurt untill winter was just about over. Is that whats going on with Cora?
