My Stink keeps trying to sleep early. We'll wake up at around 10 in the morning and his light will come on; I keep the blinds up in the room we sleep in too so there's tons of natural light, so I KNOW he doesn't think it's bed time. Even so, he'll curl into the corner of his tank or tuck his head under his log and conk out by lunch time. Otherwise, he's a really normal beardie; he's a little over a year old, regular poops, great appetite and a solid beardie tank setup (even the temps are perfect; we check with our probe thermometer.) When we wake him up from the nap he's fine, too; goes back to sitting under his lamp or crawls out of the tank to walk around the room. Has anyone else's beardie done this, though?
Sometimes they get sleepy. If his appetite and activity level outside the tank is normal that's a good sign. Perhaps some extra time outside of the tank to encourage activity would help. How much of the day is he napping vs awake? What time is his normal bedtime?

Phew! Well, he wakes up anywhere between 8-10, and he started trying to sleep again at around 3. I took him out of the tank to play with him on the bed and he tried to bury himself under me! He's silly. His light goes off at 8 usually, maybe later if we had a late start.
