So my beardie Darwin is about 1 year old. Lately, he has not been eating much at all, maybe like 1-2 crix daily. Wont take veggies, fruits, or treats. But he has been SUPER active. Scratching at his glass, jumping into glass and off of his hammock, and when I let him run around, he runs straight to my back door and jumps at that glass. Any ideas of whats wrong? I give him baths every other day, and his stools are small but look healthy (no diarrhea or discoloring). Lights are fine (just got new ones about 1 mth ago). I dust his crix with calcium or multivitamin, and I had put up a wall of paper towel around his glass in hopes of stopping his glass scratching and jumping, but nothing has worked.
Harley has been doing the exact same thing. She is a ball of active fury recently, just running all over and checking stuff out but not wanting to eat anything. Maybe it has to do with them coming out of winter cooldown? Harley is about 11 months old.
That's what I had thought too. He hasn't eaten anything for the past 3 days....
I also thought he was dehydrated, but he didn't seem to want more water. Still clueless, kinda want to take him into my local vet just to be safe.
Same here but I've been watching Harley and she isn't losing any weight or otherwise seem distressed in any way. Harley is also shedding so I'm guessing that also has something to do with her not wanting food. Guess you could take him to the vet. Me, I'm gonna wait a little bit since like I said, Harley seems perfectly fine with bright, active, alert eyes, standing tall and not all slumped over and overall still very round(she was probably a bit overweight to start with since I spoiled her a lot).
