This really is normal. My guy is a little over a year old and gets salads everyday, bugs Monday/Wednesday/Friday and soaked pellets as a treat once a week. Monday this week he ate about 5-6 roaches, Wednesday he ate about 20-25, and today he ate about 4-5. Kale is lower than collard greens in oxalates that bind with the calcium, so it's a great staple green don't worry about that. There was some information years back that they were high in oxalates but that isnt actually the case. Variety is good, so mixing in some collards or mustard greens or even romaine or escarole lettuce, just no iceberg as it's mostly water and not much else in the way of nutrition.
