I mean literally, how much water did you add ? I never used any humidity gauges or perlite, mine were in vermiculite and I had nearly 100 % hatch rate. At the end of the day all eggs should hatch if the conditions are right unless there's something wrong with the baby , which does happen at times or so it may be that these were infertile or they died in the egg for some reason. Pic of eggs in vermiculite. I always thought that this works best.

I thought maybe they died so I was extremely careful and candled a few and there is so much movement, like I just don't understand. U can literally see them perfectly and how active they are. I really am just confused, so I just keep adding drops of water to keep humidity up and hoping for the best.

Yeah that's perplexing. Because all of my experience is with vermiculite and the answer to eggs that became dented once in a while was to add water, that is my only advice I can think of and the eggs there look like they need more water around them. Perlite just seems unnatural to me although I know many people use it successfully. Maybe someone who used perlite can see this and offer advice.

I will add some more and check again tomorrow, thanks so much for the advice, I'm almost hoping they hatch early cuz I'm not sure what else to do for them!!

I used perlite when I incubated eggs I wasn't sure if fertile or not. (They weren't in the end)
I had trouble keeping it moist. It seemed to dry out every few days. I was constantly adding water. But you have to be careful not to add enough to actually make it wet.

If more are becoming dented then maybe it's too much water. Are you using an eyedropper/syringe ? If you could guess, how many full droppers have you used ?

I'm using a kids medicine syringe that holds 10ml. And I have put 2-3 full syringes in each container
