Has anyone had any luck using these as treats? I’d never feed more than 1-2 per feeding as the juvenile version made Mari’s poop red and stinky when she was little when I offered a tablespoon of them to her just to keep her fed when she woke up early in the morning hungry before I could wake up and give her a real breakfast. I hear some have put a couple on top of salads to use as croutons and I’m curious if these are gonna just cause Mari to become a diarrhea cannon if I feed her even just one. She loves these because they are red, but I just want to make sure it’s safe to give her a processed treat before I go to the store and get her a grown up version now that she’s 1.
I'd save the money the freeze dried bugs lack alot of nutritional value and are practically just the shell of the bug. The pellets usually have dyes and spray on odors to make them more appealing . Alot of people just feed them to the live bugs before feeding the bugs to your lizard to gut load the bugs. A better treat for your dragon would be some Repashy Grubpie
