bearded new to handling

so i’m trying to work on handling my 1 year old girl. she’s always been very shy but recently she hasn’t been very active within the enclosure and so i figured she was bored and wanted some more enrichment . when i got her out she just sat on my chest and don’t move the whole time she was like moving her head and stuff and then when i put her back on the basking spot she was like really tensed up and didn’t move at all. is she scared is this why? or is she just calm

Hard to say --- how long have you had her? And what are her surface basking temps and how are you getting them? UVB a coil or long tube fixture?

A lot of times, they don't move much.
They just like to be held

What do you feed her.?
Treat feeders=Lazy bearded dragon
Healthy feeders=Somewhat active bearded dragon

is she scared is this why? or is she just calm

Sounds like a calm bearded dragon. She might be a little insecure due to only being 1 year old.
Try to handle her more.

I was like that with my first bearded dragon; I ended up not handling her much and I was worried about her so she got fat & lazy.
