Bearded dragons nose is closed !

Hi I was wondering if anyone had experienced there bearded dragons nostrils closing off with what looks like his own skin. He’s been mouth gaping a lot and the doctors say it seems like swelling and will go down but it hasn’t !

I agree, it does sound a lot like what pre-shed skin would do on the nostril. How long has his nose looked like this?
