My 3 month old bearded dragon is having watery poo. It's been going on for a week. I thought it would clear up but has not yet. He has started to eat up to 80 roaches a day and still wants more. But he acts completely normal. I've heard it could be Parisites but I don't know were he would have gotten them from. I would take him to the vet but I have not found one that would treat him near me.
It's possible that the increase in eating is just making him well hydrated so he's passing the water through his system. This is common when they get into a lot of high water content veges like squash too. Is the poop still well formed, or is it messy? Does it smell stronger than normal? If it still looks/smells normal aside from the extra water then it's probably fine. Even if it's a bit messy it could be upset stomach from digesting so many bugs all of a sudden.
Yes it does have a funky smell and still has shape. Hopefully it is just too much water. If I find a vet nearby that will take him then he will definitely go. Better safe then sorry. Thanks for the help
The vet can help you identify which parasite if any. There are different meds you can use. Most of them you can get online. If you need some links after you find out if he has any, anyone here can help you out.
