one If my female dragons is much darker then she normally is and iam wondering if it’s because she’s sharing her enclosure with another female ? They have been kept together since they were two weeks old and now that they are around 7 months iam starting to see one much darker than the other. Both of them are Hypotrans . She eats like a monster and seems alert. 4 foot enclosure with T5 uvb and perfect basking spot. Temps are around 103 basking and 87 cool side. I can clearly see the scales of the Dunner female are much darker then the other. Night time when she sleeps she glows with not dark scales .I’ve kept females together for years and this the first time this has ever happened.usually her behavior tells me it’s stress but iam not exactly sure Any help ?
Bearded dragons should never be kept together -- they are a territorial creature and one will take over dominance ---- one will start to not thrive while the other one will - I would separate them ASAP - that is what I have been told others on here would agree and some would disagree but for the most part they should be separated ---------- it sounds like you have a light in the tank at nite? It sounds like she is stressed out from the coloring your describing

No lights in the tank... when I check on her she isn’t much darker then she is awake .Never had this Issues before keeping snakes together. I agree I honestly think one of the females is stressing her out. I’ll be building another enclosure ASAP. Ordered extra lights and fixtures today.
Just realized I wrote “never had this issue keeping snakes together” lol I meant to say female dragons hahah I was typing a bit too fast to think for a sec. I ordered new lights and started working on a new enclosure hopefully once I separate the two they will brighten up a bit. Thank you
