Hi guys I recently purchased my first bearded dragon and I and he has just been such a pleasure to keep!
But you can see from the images below that he has got this yellow-like sort of pigment, and I’m not sure if it could be yellow fungus 😬
I researched and he is a blue barred dragon, so they do have a yellow kinda morph, but I decided to post it just in case as I’d rather be safe than sorry.
Thanks kindly,
Alina

He is looking really handsome :)

I see nothing out of the normal. YF would be not symetrical and it would be patches that are lightly elevated from the other scales. It would definately have a different feel to it when you'd touch it.

I agree with Chris. You have a very beautiful blue bar tiger leatherback. Yellow fungus is just that, it's a fungus. All I see on your beardie is natural color 🙂

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
