Hi I got my first bearded dragon on my birthday last year (february 4). He is in a really large tank. I bought a huge one so I wouldn't have to buy a new one when he grew. I was told he was about 3 months old when I got him, and now I've had him for almost 7 months making him almost a year old. He is still about the same size as when I got him though. Im really concerned that I am doing something very wrong. He sleeps and eats fine and seems happy and healthy but he's still so tiny!
Do you dust his crickets with calcium 7 times a week?
He also needs a good uvb lamp (i recommend reptisun 10.0 tube bulb)
without uvb lights they can't digest the calcium and it won't get into their bones which will cause MBD (metabolic bone disease) and he won't grow also.
also when it's sunny outside. you can take him out for some natural sun.
