I own a 5 month Bearded Dragon that has started to get some odd skin or something on its lip recently. I am concerned that it may be mouth rot, but I am not sure if it actually is or not. I will include pictures of what my beardie’s mouth looks like.
If someone could please help me out and attempt to give me a possible solution to this it would be greatly appreciated, I have been worrying a lot recently if he actually has the disease and I want to take care of him the best I can.
His behavior and attitude is completely normal, and his appetite is normal as of now. I will update if this changes.
I noticed this about a week ago and it slowly started to get better, but this morning it was a little worse. I was shocked to see this because he was almost 100% looking as of yesterday.
I have more pictures available too and can take more.
He does not let me open his mouth, he bites me immediately, it’s hard to see if he has anything stuck in his teeth or any dark blotches in his mouth or gums.
Helpful feedback is greatly appreciated in ensuring Bambe’s health!!
Thank you

It does look like the start of possible mouth rot. You can apply raw honey to it several times a day, mix it with a tiny bit of warm water. Or you can get something called maxi guard [ found online if not at a drug store ] to apply a few times a day. If it doesn't heal and especially if Bambe stops eating you'll probably need a vet but look for one experienced with beardies.
