Hello, my 1 year 3 month old bearded dragon just pooped a pretty odd poop, it is very bright green, watery and smelly. He has had watery stool for awhile now, since admittedly the greens he gets are typically pretty wet, and the vegetable/fruit we have available is also typically pretty juicy/wet ( green grapes, cucumber blue berries) so that has been no surprise. However the smell is what got me worried today, (in conjunction with the other things) since I know that can be a sign of parasites, but he seems perfectly fine? he's a very high energy bearded dragon, always, running, jumping, trying to fight things ect. and nothing has changed, he also has a great appetite, very excited about food, loves his greens and fruit and also his bugs, which are Dubia roaches vie been breeding for sometime now. he hasn't had crickets in at least a few months, (since I know they are what mainly give parasites, from what I understand) since with the diet flop at a year old, dubia roaches are something I can feed him more regularly now. so, aside from the poop, everything seems fine, he's just finishing a full shed, he was little drained yesterday, but I had him out for a large amount of time, and he ran all around my room, so I figure that is alright too. Should I be worried? or should I only be concerned if he shows more symptoms? thanks for your time and help.
of what specifically? I already have thrown out the poop, since he was getting dangerously close to running through it, but I could definitely show some photos of him and the set up if that is what you are referring too?
okay I was wondering if that was what u meant, I'll definitely will post it when he goes again (if it was like this) thank u for ur reply, and sorry for the misunderstanding!

Please cut back on the cucumber and the blueberries --- the cucumber will cause runny stool the blueberries have too much sugar-- you can call the vet see if you can drop a fecal off for testing- then go from there
Just like in humans, a one-off weird poo is typically not a cause for concern. It's when it becomes a constant that further investigation is usually warranted.
Many things can cause a loose stool that are totally normal. Stress, diet was high in water that day, a new food item was tried, dragon didn't bask enough.. etc.
All in all, expect for their to occasionally be weird poos. Pay attention when the weird poos start becoming the norm.

hey thanks for your reply! he doesn't typically get those daily, but I'll still cut back a bit. Is apple or grapes good? those are really what else we normally have on hand.

I document Rocky's poop and it helped me stress more (along with his food and if he was shedding). He has tried hornworms for the first time and I know they have high water content but his watery poop freaked him out. He didn't glass surf because I immediately cleaned it but when the door open, Rocky ran as far away as he could. That was a first!
I agree, it is somewhat normal for them to have stools that are off from time to time. As Karrie
suggested, it would be good to cut back on the fruit since sugar often causes loose stools.
You could give a probiotic for a few days or so to see if that helps out his tummy.
