bearded dragon exhaling out mouth?

so my 4 month old beardie Jah is completely normal and healthy, he’s alert, he walks around and eats and poops normally. but i was just wondering if its normal for him to exhale out his mouth (usually while he’s in the sun but while out too), it looks like he inhales deep and i can see the breath in his throat and then he exhales it out of his mouth. he’s never stressed or sleeping (i think) when this happens. he never gapes aside from when he’s basking, and this is the only thing i’ve seen that im not sure about. he has no mucus coming from his nose or eyes. like he looks and acts completely healthy. is he just regulating his body temperature when he does this? help

I'm not sure exactly what he is doing there. I agree it looks kind of weird.
