Hi everyone,

I'm just hoping to get a bit of advice regarding our bearded dragon eggs. They are 70 days old today (19/09/2022). There are 10 eggs and one week ago 5 starting to get dents in them. Everything I can find says either they're dehydrated or 24-48 hrs from hatching. They are definitely not dehydrated so wondering if anyone can tell me if it's normal for them to take more than 24-48 hrs and will they be ok?

TIA

Lotte

Hey thanks so much for your advice guys, you really helped! Around 5pm yesterday (21/09/2022) a little head emerged from one egg! Around 9pm another one joined them! It's 5am the next day and they're both still just head out. Is this normal? How long does it usually take for them to wholly emerge?

It's actually nice that you have a small clutch, very small, they're often 20 -30 or even more. You'll be glad as they get bigger , eat a ton and need to be separated + have more lights set up. [ Depending on how long you keep them ]

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
