Bearded dragon "can't" (won't) open his eyes

Hello,

Definitely go very slowly with the feedings. I hope he will like the critical care powder, too. Be sure to
keep the mix somewhat thin, so it isn't too thick. It makes it easier for them to eat or lick from the syringe
when the mix is thinner & he has less likelihood of choking with it being too thick.
Let us know how his eyes are doing. The Tobramycin/Tobrex eye drops should hopefully help him out. So
his eyes are not swollen? They are most likely just hurting so he doesn't want to open them.

Ty! They were a bit swollen yesterday. But I managed to open them just a little to put some Tobrex drops in them. Today he opened them. They seem a bit dry (the skin around the eyes) but he seems to be doing better. Hopefully feeding him with mashed food won't be needed now that he can see again.

You are welcome. That's good you were able to get some of the eye drops into them somewhat.
So he was able to open his eyes today? I hope they are feeling better.
That is positive so hopefully he will be able to eat on his own now if he can see better.

Yes! He is active and keeps his eyes mostly open. I will go to the pet store in another city today to buy what I need for him ( better UVB lamps). He ate on his own. Things are going back to normal

Yet another store had NOTHING for lizards. But me and my partner checked if we can order it online now (which wasn't able before for some reason) and we can. I will find some of the UVBs people here mentioned, and do some more research about them and other types so the same mistake doesn't happen again.

That's great you are able to order from the store. Hopefully you can find one of the recommended
lights, too. Most stores just don't stock the better lights.
