Hey guys this morning my Chubbs went poop everything was fine I come home after being out (4-5 hrs) found her in the corner of her enclosure and extremely bloated randomly.
I'm waiting to hear back from the vet at 5pm (1 hour) is this a freak thing or is it something serious??
Note: I told them I couldn't wait till tomorrow so they are gonna have the vet call me (he sees all my animals)
They can bloat themselves on purpose, Snickers did it everything i got her out. It may be nirhing to worry about, but if it doesn't go down I'd still see the vet just in case. Some parasites can cause bloat as well i think

This was her poop this morning the orange is butternut squash it's Kale+Collard Greens+Escarole+Butternut Squash= a very tasty salad and she (Chubbs) doesn't eat salads
How is she doing tonight?
Is she still bloated right now? It can be normal for
them to bloat themselves up, but, they shouldn't
stay that way. Is her beard black or normal color?
I agree, if she doesn't improve, I would recommend
getting her to a vet especially if she has a black
beard.

Update: I'm leaving the vet now he felt around did all his checks weight looking in the eyes and down her throat.
He said she isn't blocked or impacted since she is pooping he told me to soak her 3 times a day for a few days and give her gas x for babies 2 times a day to see if she improves if not bring her back.
He also said she seems to puff up more since he was messing with her feeling for a blockage checking her throat etc
Not sure about the Gasx for babies. Do you have a picture of her you could post, how is she doing
this evening?
The vet didn't feel it was anything serious & didn't find any impaction, etc?
Go easy on the soaking, as excessive soaking can be stressful on them & can sometimes contribute
to respiratory infections if they get chilled.
Let us know how she is doing.
