Bearded Dragon Beard Vibrating

Hello, today I noticed that my bearded dragon was having these weird vibrations on his face, or more accurately his beard. It’s only happening at the very base of his beard (the soft “sack part?”) that connects his head to his neck/body and only noticeable if I lift him up. The vibrations are very fast and minuscule (I only noticed because I was looking closely). These vibrations aren’t constant and I believe they stop after around 5 minutes. I notice that he starts doing it only after I touch the apex of his mouth. He gets a little crust there sometimes from his food/calcium, and I guess it hurts him when I try and touch it, he has a sore on the inside of his mouth there from glass surfing. Anyways, I heard that shaking/vibrations could be an indicator of MBD, and I just wanted to ask for help since I didn’t see any threads about beard shaking specifically.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Here, hopefully you can see it. I am also worried about the sore in his mouth that seems to be causing him to do this. He’s had it for a while and the vet says it’s from glass surfing, but he’s had it for a while.
Thank you 😊

gonna have some others take a look at the vibrating -- the sore on the mouth or in his mouth? you can use some raw pasteurized honey on the outside -manuka is a good example- just dont feed any crickets in the tank -

Hello,

That looks like a muscle twitch. There have been several cases on the board here, with that type of issue.
Do you supplement any vitamins for him?
Are you using calcium for him also?
As Karrie suggested, you can use raw unpasteurized honey or manuka honey on the sore in the mouth. Did an insect perhaps bite him somehow?

I do not give him any vitamins. For calcium he unusually gets Reptile Calcium with D3, Flukers calcium without D3, and herptavite with beta carotene dusted on his vegetables and insects (different one every day).
I have noticed that his muscles have started twitching more, as now it is twitching while he eats (it doesn’t appear worse, just more frequent).
Thank you.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
The head tilt tho! Aaaahhh
