my beardie is about 17 inches long and some have said she seems to be about a year old but other places say she may be 6 months or so (providing this info since I hear babies need baths more often and she's definitely not a baby)

how often should I give her a bath?

It's ultimately how it fits your schedule. It's better to err on the side of too many baths than too few. A bath every day or two is good, but if you can't swing that it's OK too.

Yep I agree. I give my guy a bath every other day. Alot of times he will stick his face all the way down to get his full drink of water lol when he was a baby I did it every day just to make sure everything went through okay and to teach him to use the potty in the bath. Seemed to work!

Rico gets a bath every other day
-- he likes baths and swims around.

Mellow gets a bath every other day
-- she tolerates her bath and it's the only place she will poo.

Q gets a bath 2x a week
-- she hates baths, but she's my best eater of moist greens and
stays pretty well hydrated that way.

So really it varies. Try to keep at least 1-2 a week, but giving more
baths is better if the dragon handles it without too much stress.

thanks for the replies everyone! every other day sounds great to me and I can manage that. she seems to like bath time, she just closes her eyes and sits in the water

but now she's crawling around on my head. I'm not sure why she loves to do that so much

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
