So, Simon hasn't poo'd since Monday and this has me worried. I've been giving him a bath just about everyday at warm temps, he's been scared of his new basking tree, but now he is OK with it, but no poo... When he is in the bath, he loves to float around, but is it OK to allow water to get into their ears? I keep the water from his nose, but he seems comfy to float around and I think he tries to sleep when he does it.. is that normal?
The water level shouldn't be going anywhere higher than their shoulders, so it shouldn't be coming near the ears or the jaws and he shouldn't have to float. He should be able to stand in the tub.
It is at his shoulders, but he likes to puff up, lay flat and float... I usually try to hold his head a little higher, and he actually sleeps this way in the tub. I'm assuming he is either extremely comfortable with his baths or he just tries to get out faster... When I wave the water around him he likes to float with the waves, so I figured it was OK. I was just wondering if I should take more precaution to not allow water to get into his ears. I did see a video of a beardie swimming, so I would assume it would be OK?
