When giving a bath I know your only suppose to fill the water up to there shoulders and no more than that.....she likes her baths but she also acts like a fish sometimes and dips her head under water.
Today she dipped her head under water a couple of times and came back up....when she did her neck did this little thing like she was swallowing....when i got her out she had a little bit of water in her ears.....will this hurt her?
by the way forgot to say my beardie does the neck thing too in the bath- they also breath in lots of air to puff their bodies up to help them float. All their little mannerisms can be quite worrying when you don't know what they're doing
As Cat said.. this is perfectly normal behaviour. As long as you make sure she comes back up  she should be fine.
Now there have been a few cases where a beardie "may" have gotten an inner ear infection, due to too much water in the ear(s). I have only seen this a few times on the boards over the past few years. So, I think that it is fairly uncommon, but is possible.
Don't let that scare you though... like I said I believe it is pretty uncommon.
So, allow your beardie to have fun in the water and dive if she wants. They are so cute to watch in the bath.
