Hey i'm back again, I read somewhere on here that the basking bulb isn't supposed to be colored and its supposed to be white light, my light gives off a yellow/ orange light, is that wrong?

You want a solid clear bright white bulb-- you can try using regular household bulbs indacanscent bulbs- but make sure your getting correct basking surface temps-- or good basking bulbs are flukers- exo Terra intense or Arcadia halogen

You can look up lighting colors, generally the basking lights we use gives off either a soft white glow or a brighter white. The exo terra intense I use for example is a soft white

Incandescent bulbs are gettibg hard to find, lowes carries a few now but they are higher wattage. The ones I've seen are 150 to 200 watts. I treid the 200 watt (that was all they had in stock that day) and it was to hot but i have it inside the enclosure. If you used a light stand to hang it higher up it would be a great bulb. As an added bonus they are less than 4 bucks each as well. I'll add a link to the 200 watt, im not sure the 150 comes in clear.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
