my 150 watt basking bulb went out and i wont be able to replace it until 6 this afternoon. im using a 100 watt right now but i know its not going to get the spot hot enough. should i not feed reggie today because his temps wont be right? i dont want him to have trouble digesting things because its not warm enough. hes 3 months old and normally gets fed bug 4 or 5 times a day and a salad everyday.

He should be fine - replace his bulb when you can today and leave it on for digestion to start like 2 hrs - go ahead and feed him tho

You can give him a smaller meal around mid afternoon [ 3-4 p.m. ] if you're sure that you will be getting the higher watt bulb later. You can also cover part of his enclosure with a heavy towel or small blanket, just be sure it doesn't cover the bulb or become a fire hazard.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
