Hi, so I've been browsing this site lately and I'm enjoying it so far, you've all been very helpful!

What I would like to ask is that I've read on here that the basking bulb light is supposed to be white. Mine is like a warm yellow-orange colour (i've attached a picture for reference). Is this OK?

I use the Exo terra intense basking light 100W.

Hello,

I think that it looks perfectly fine! The color hue or warmth of the color temp does vary quite a bit
between the types of lights, brands of lights, etc. As long as it isn't a "colored" light or a light that
has neodymium coating on it then it should be bright enough!

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
