It always cheers me up to see beardies in a good condition. Because at the Petco I go to I can assure you that at least 2 of the 5 reptiles in the cages there are dead and nobody knows.

Basil has grown so much since then

good pictures, just wait until basil starts to grow like a weed... we rescued one from petsmart that was about 9 inches long and within the last 6 months he has grown to 17 inches but most of that was within about 2 or 3 months

I've switched back to smaller crickets becase Basil seamed to have some trouble eatting the bigger ones.

He has gotten more then twice the size that he was when I first got him on October first!
When he gets a bit bigger I'm going to give him bigger crickets again.

Basil has beautiful colors! And yes, its RIDICULOUS how fast they grow. In February, mine could fit in the palm of my hand and now he's like the length of my arm. Its crazy.

I like his colors, he was diferent when I first got him but his color changed from brown to orange when he shed!
And he's gotten more then twice his sise from when I got him.
