I have a three old female Bearded dragon and she started having some swelling around her eyes, it has progressed to the point now that she has a liquid discharge from both eyes, redness and swelling. She can't really open her eyes, vet care is pretty non existent in my region, the only vet in the area said that they do not deal with reptiles. I got some eye drops, Flukers Repta Rinse reptile eye drops, but it doesn't seem to be helping, I don't know if this is the right thing to use, I'm getting really worried about her. Please please please, someone here knows what I need to do! I've searched a half dozen similar threads on here but they're all so full of non-answers, unrelated comments etc I can't find anything helpful. I just want to know what could possibly cause this and how in the world can I fix her. I appreciate anyone who can help me, and I apologize for my frustration, I'm just worried sick about her, she's my little baby beardie and she's never had a single issue before, she's almost 4 years old, I've had her since she was barely bigger than my thumb.

Please go over the UVB your using brand and bulb coil or long tube fixture---- what kind of basking bulb ? NO off white -- colored or yellowish and No neoyidium bulbs also known as a daytime bulb --- in the meantime start w/ some raw unpasteurized honey - use a Q tip to administer -- I would do this 2 times per day -- it will kill infection -- please use some regular saline no contact lens stuff to rinse the eyes - rinse and then apply the honey -- keep crickets out of the tank if feeding them -- start there but we need to go over the lighting and what kind of substrate please --

Hello,

Do you have any pictures of your dragon's
girl's eyes? It is possible it could be the UVB
lighting. As requested, we need to know the
type/brand of UVB so we can be sure it is a
safe type to use.
The raw, unpasteurized honey helps a lot but
wont help if it is a heart or kidney issue. If it's
light related then the lights need to be changed in order to help the eyes heal up.
Let us know how she is doing.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
