My 3 mo old beardie had a prolapse, it went back in on its own but I was already at the vet so i went ahead and had her looked at. Fecals came back negative, but I didn't get any advice as to what to feed her now. I called back after I left but it's already late so I just wanted some opinions from people that have dealt with this. Should i feed her baby food, and when should I feed her crickets again? I don't want this to happen again. Also she's on tile, fed pinhead crickets, lighting and all that is good.. Calcium several times a week and vitams 1x in case anyone wants to ask about all that.
Try feeding soft bodied feeders like Phoenix worms. If she prolapses again, she will need to go to a vet ASAP, and the vet should put a couple sutures in it once it is back inside. Baby food and other soft things are best so that she doesn't have to strain to poop.
