So, my friend said that I should get a beardie over 6 months because if they're younger they're very sensitive, hard to take care of and die easily, is this true? Of course theyre sensitive because they're babies but do they really just die that easily? I couldn't find anywhere that said you shouldn't get a young beardie, most people said you should get a baby
Another inexperienced person -- babies are not as hard to care for -- they need good UVB meaning NO coils -- good basking temps taken w/ a digital probe thermometer--- dragons die of all ages-- alot of times its from the improper care I just told you --- some have genetic issues -- some are good and healthy at first and then get w/ some one who does not know how to care for them and then lets them get sicker and does not seek help soon enough --- if you want to get a baby get one come here and ask for help -- there is a topic on here that Brandon posted about buying kits for first time owners -- viewtopic.php?p=1945606
the only thing about babies is you need to feed them more often --- they go take time to tame and sometimes are a little more feisty than others
