Baby Beardie Lemon Update 🍋

Just sharing some Lemon updates!

Had another injection Saturday for tape worm, but eating like a champ. He’s begun his first shed in his new home and is still adjusting, but has started to approach me when I open his enclosure! He LOVES to climb a lot, and goes up and down throughout the day.

His belly gets a little full after he eats and looks like a chonk until he poops. I have to cut him off sometimes!

I’ve got a happy beardie!

His belly gets a little full after he eats and looks like a chonk until he poops. I have to cut him off sometimes!

A word of advice, that water is WAY to deep a third of that deep is plenty.

oh good call- thank you! I will tone it down! i must have read shoulder deep somewhere? but i appreciate it!

Not really too deep, lots of soaking dragons has become a thing but aren't needed except for if they really enjoy them or if they drink. Even then once a week for 5 minutes at most or every 2 weeks is fine and always supervised. The water level could be slightly lower though if you're worried.

thank you! we’ve done it on days he hasn’t pooped, but I got him a soak since i caught him scratching and rubbing on his rock. figured i’d help ease the itch of the shed. i’m still helicopter parenting him a bit. he does like to drink it off the tip of my finger. otherwise, we just do a slight mist twice a day!

also he is snoozing away. put himself to bed again. lol love this little nugget so much!

You have a beautiful dragon! And I like how you organized his environment in the terrarium. I didn't notice him right away, he was perfectly camouflaged as a branch.

awe! thank you! ohhh yours is getting big! i love little lemon, but ready for him to grow a bit bigger to hang out with us someday! the tiles were SO much easier to clean and i am hoping they will help with his nails lol

Fr! I ordered a non slip mat on Amazon. LIFE CHANGERR! if you wanna change tile go to mat. I recommend!!! I am learning to tame my dragon and he loves me. Can’t wait to see lemon when he’s bigger

ohhh i have one but every kept saying they need to file their little nails ahahah maybe i’ll give him some time before more changes and swap out with the mat. lol thank you! it’s so fun. lemon is still big mad at me about his last tapeworm injection. so glad yours is loving life with you!
