Lemon
Good day, beardie buds!
My new beardie, Lemon HATES greens. He’s 2 months old, still fairly new to our home, and just finished a parasite medication. He’s eating crickets and dubia roaches fine, but refuses all greens.
By greens I mean collard, turnip greens, and kale. I’m dusting with bee pollen, tried putting his live feeders in with his greens, given fresh every morning, misted, dried, you name it. Greens aren’t his jam.
Lemz is pooping daily with good urate, basking in temps between 95-105, UVB over majority of the tank, and also getting water through either a syringe or a soak. He is hyper aware of temps and finds warmth or cooler spots when he wants just fine.
Some days he eats more than others, way less lethargic than when he was on the Albon. Crickets dusted with calcium/d3 sans phosphorus. Doing fine!
But… greens are still a no go.
So- when to worry? What can I do outside of what I’m currently doing? Or does little dude just need a bit more time to get comfy in his new home.
Thanks in advance! (Pic is post Dubia roach feeding where he chased down 12, is quite full and pleased with himself.
