Baby Beardie Hates Greens

Beardie name(s)

Good day, beardie buds!

My new beardie, Lemon HATES greens. He’s 2 months old, still fairly new to our home, and just finished a parasite medication. He’s eating crickets and dubia roaches fine, but refuses all greens.

By greens I mean collard, turnip greens, and kale. I’m dusting with bee pollen, tried putting his live feeders in with his greens, given fresh every morning, misted, dried, you name it. Greens aren’t his jam.

Lemz is pooping daily with good urate, basking in temps between 95-105, UVB over majority of the tank, and also getting water through either a syringe or a soak. He is hyper aware of temps and finds warmth or cooler spots when he wants just fine.

Some days he eats more than others, way less lethargic than when he was on the Albon. Crickets dusted with calcium/d3 sans phosphorus. Doing fine!

But… greens are still a no go.
So- when to worry? What can I do outside of what I’m currently doing? Or does little dude just need a bit more time to get comfy in his new home.

Thanks in advance! (Pic is post Dubia roach feeding where he chased down 12, is quite full and pleased with himself. 😂)

Normal get some bsfl and use those as lures to the salad bowl- you will need one that the bsfl can't get out of - something w/ lip- feed first thing in the morning start w/ 20-25 if he eats them to fast they will come out undigested - he does need time acclimate to his tank and surroundings- make sure your surface basking temps are being taken w a digital probe thermometer- 105-110 and a good uvb No coils please

Thank you- UVB is a strip tube style light, using a IR Laser thermometer so temps are accurate. I’ll try the BSFL next. thank you!

Where is the uvb? In the tank or top of screen and what brand and bulb please-- IR guns can be off the probes are the most accurate

UVB is on top of the screen. I did not want to burn him. Should I mount under the screen. I’ll look into the probes. Thanks
