Baby beardie was eating awesome for a week chowing down on Dubias. I bought some more at a local reptile store even though I was worried they were too big. The employee assured me they were fine for baby’s size. I fed him 5 when I got home and he ate them all seemingly with no problems. When I fed him the next time he wouldn’t eat them. When we came home from dinner that night it looked like he had thrown one up. I gave the rest away to a friend with a beardie. I gave him crickets until my smaller Dubias came by mail. He ate some crickets, but not a lot. Now he’s not eating the Dubias. This is all from Friday (ate big roaches) to today Tuesday. Worried he’s not eating. He was doing so great before Friday. He still seems active and alert, just not eating.
Welcome --- where did you get your beardie from? My guess is hes going thru relocation stress --- the dubias are better for him than the crickets so if he will still eat those I would keep him on those -- are you dusting those bugs? Calcium D3 5 x per week along w/ vitamins 2 x per week-- I would be offering him vegies as well things like mustard collard turnip greens - gr beans - some fruit-- NO citrus---- it will get him used to the vegies but his main diet now is bugs---
