anyone interested lol

On a dragon that saturated with color I dont know how you would determine Paradox.
She is gorgeous though.

I have to admit, I wasn't (and not) interested in the morph/genetics. As long as I get a happy, healthy beardie I'm happy!

Honestly beardies that are closer to completely normal will be the healthiest, and most hardy.

It IS very unique and people will be drawn to it for that reason. I don't care for this color at all and what's most important IS the health of the dragon and also how long the seller has been in business. This guy may or may not be someone good to deal with , it all depends a lot on how long he's been doing this, how many good reviews he has, etc. The animal is of course captive born, all beardies in the U.S are. But on the page he wrote that he has had it for 2 months so he got it from someone else. That doesn't make it bad but you have no way of knowing the lineage of the parents or how healthy they are or how it's " siblings " are doing. This is a newer morph and there may be more health problems with it but for someone with the money who wants to take their chances and is genuinely interested in raising it to really see how long it lives it would be interesting.

I can't buy it but I thought I'd share it with you all. Since your all beardie enthusiasts. I personally think that the prettiest dragons are the citrus and red monster colorations.

Hmm thats interesting. With ball pythons a lot of snakes who have the crazier morphs have shorter life spans, health issues, etc. It makes sense that it would be the same for beardies since the genetics side of the morph is the same. (Breeding/inheritance)

Yes, thanks for sharing it , it is very unique ! And I also like the reds that are really red and not red/blackish , I love the high yellow and citrus tigers. This yellow one I hatched came from a red/ paired with a lower yellow/orange.

I think I would fall over if you hatched a beardie that wasn't beautiful, all your beardies look amazing 🙂

Thank you ! Realistically there would be a variety in every clutch. Some with the least amount of color, some mid range and others popping. The important thing is to always look for different bloodlines.
These are the decsendants of wild red and yellow dragons too so they are natural, just bred to others that have high color but again, in a safe way. Never breeding siblings or parent to offspring.

We've been going over genetic diversity in biology recently. It's really interesting how many issues inbreeding can cause...it's sad that people would stoop to that level just to get the results they want...at the cost of the health of the beardie :(

Do you still breed hatchlings? Down the road it might be cool to some of your guys (when I'm actually realistically able to breed) not mixing gentics is why I get my guys all the place. (I know it can still happen, but a beardie from Pa. Is less likely to related to a beardie from Fl. Than another beardie fron Fl.)

No, I haven't bred any for years now and don't intend to. It is very time consuming and even though I enjoyed it there was always the fact that with many baby beardies at home you were limited in what you could do . Plus I saw the excess of dragons flooding the market and it bothered me that I knew that some would not stay in good homes. Some people buy things, then get tired of them, etc.

There are good breeders out there , always be wary of anyone new.

Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
