Recently, I've been trying to handle Loki as much as possible, as my hands are currently tied with the size of his viv and lack of adequate transportation.
Last night, I had him out while I was reading a book, and he fell asleep on my chest. It was fine, he didn't move much and I made sure my book was far enough away from him that the weight didn't hit him at all. At some point, the blanket got over him, but he still didn't move.
All of a sudden, he jumps up and RUNS for the wall. He got caught on my bag, and I was able to pull him away before he made it behind a bookshelf. He was black bearding something fierce (and this is the first time he's ever black bearded at me), his mouth was open, but as soon as he was in my hand, he was perfectly still, just staring at me with his mouth gaping and his beard black.
Was he having a dream that caused him to panic, or was it something that I did?
I agree with the fact that he probably had a nightmare and took off running when he first woke up.
As long as he was ok when you approached hm, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
