I was just at Petsmart on Road to Six Flags in Arlington TX, there is a BD with either a foot or a leg missing and they are adopting him out for free. He is a tiny baby and weighs 14g, I saw all 3 of his good legs but not the other. I have no where to put him and I am hoping someone who knows what they are doing gets him.

I couldn't stand it, I took him home. Besides missing a foot, he is healthy and so far is eating. Petsmart said they have had him in the back for about 2 months after he lost his foot so I am assuming he is 2-3 months old, on his adoption sheet it said he was 14 grams.
I have never had a baby so..... well see how this goes, he's very feisty and was trying to bite the employees as they were getting him out of his tank, since I have had home he hasn't tried to bite me and his stress marks have faded some.
Being free at Petsmart I was afraid some ***** was going to pick him up. I have been thinking about getting another BD so I figured why not give this one a chance at life.

Nah... I had everything laying around the house for him, I ordered some stuff from petmountain I am waiting for... I am just a little worried because when I go up to his cage he crouches behind his rock sometimes. But he ate like 25 crickets yesterday and about 12 dubia roaches just now, he was fine eating as I placed them in the cage with the tongs then all the sudden he realizes it's my hand entering the aquarium he freaks out and starts hissing and hiding behind his rock. Its weird, I figure hes just unsure and still settling in. I haven't really handled him yet, except for moving him so I could remove the excess crickets or roaches, im trying to let him get settled in.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
Hi everyone, I have a question please. I have a thick branch I got from outside. It has been in freezing temperatures so I know that it is insect free. I took it off the ground and sat it up during a night we got down to 15 so the entire thing would freeze. Well tonight I put white vinegar all over it too cleanse it since it won't fit in my oven. Do I need to rinse with water tomorrow or is it fine left alone dried?
